Final Touches

A memory box full of neatly labeled pictures, a metal can with marked reels of film, or maybe a box of slides neatly filed in order.

But for most of us, a shoebox containing an assortment of the above in total disarray is more common.

But what you really have is your family history, precious memories that are collecting dust, or worse, at the risk of fading away.

Final touches is a resource to help you save your memories, and to help you re-present them for the next generation of your family. I’m going to try to develop a step by step approach that if successful will allow you to take what you already have and use it to restore, preserve and re-show your family memories. Along the way if you feel you need help I can step in to help give your memories the Final Touches they deserve.

Here is a step by step approach to creating your family presentation.

Step One Re-Storage

Step Two  Identify

Step Three Categorize

Step Four Digitize

Step Five     Visualize

Step Six Editorialize

Step Seven Finalize
